A Hundred Heavenly Hosts
The small gods of Lutetia are a cavalcade of ideas, and people, and histories, all deified, worshiped, and given power. Way back when most of them were Elementals of some kind or other, but they have long since been re-molded as more easily approached ideals.
- Albia – the divine female flood. Albia represents fullness in all things, tides, the moon, pregnancy, rivers. She is passionate and brimming with possibility, and her knights are often chivalrous, honourable, and prone to romanticism.
- The Order of Perfection -a small god of crystals, rules, regulations, and patterns. And fractals, but that’s a secret. Once upon a time the Order was a Dwarven similarity engine, but it gained awareness, lost its utility, and is now worshiped by a few very neat and tidy humans.
- Mother Ocean – an elemental of dark and hidden depths, one for cliff-side sacrifices and placatory names. Her servants are the merrow of the bay, local bogeymen who go unseen but attract whispered superstition. The Larochelle family were the last in living memory to curse the Mother, and their house fell from the cliff. Now they are wine merchants, their new home as far back from the bay as can be.
- Agrios – The Wild, a small god of harvests and hangovers, of song, fertility, and uncontrolled passions. Vineyards and festivals both belong to him.
